THE SNOW LEOPARD CONSERVATION MOVEMENT

The storyworld of ‘Monarch of the Mountains’ was first written as a short story, a manuscript way back in 2012. The inspiration for this story came from my school years, observing my elder brother's school wildlife project work in Fitzjohn's School, London.

As I grew older, I got involved in local conservation work for the RSPB and London Wildlife Trust, where I was driven to learn about wildlife, like the Peregrine Falcon and wild animals like the Red Fox, both now urban wild animals in some locations, having adapted through years of human urban habitation, moving into their natural habitat.

My writing took me to the Himalayas, where I observed these wonderful snow leopards both in 2022 and in 2024. Monarch of the Mountains is progressing as a major feature film in the next few years.
